Time for a #seasonalsew3 check in and progress update! Thank you to everyone who has shared their plans and tagged us — we love to see what everyone is working on!
What We’ve Done
As for the two of us, we are working away on our Seasonal Sew 3 makes. We each finished our Persephone Pants during the month of September and got to check our first make off our lists.
Mac made hers up in a great light wash denim. These will be such a staple in the coming months.
Katie went with a rust-colored stretch twill and added big back pockets to hold her phone and other stuff.
What’s Up Next?
We’re headed into our second month of the Seasonal Sew 3 which means another pattern for us! We are each tackling our shirt patterns this month, so look for those as well as some great fitting tips and tutorials for both woven and knit bodices.
Mac will be tackling the Hey June Cheyenne Tunic and hopefully overcoming her fear of button up shirts! Katie chose the Isla Top from Made by Rae and will show how she makes fitting adjustments on knit bodice patterns.
A Planning Freebie!
We both love planning (as you likely know — hence the #seasonalsew3!) and we also love freebies. So we put together a planning template for you. You can use the croquis in the template to sketch out your Seasonal Sew 3 ideas, and then the use the detail pages to keep all your notes about pattern, size, alterations, measurements, fabric, etc. It’s a great way to plan out your Seasonal Sew 3 makes and keep track of all the details so you have it all written down for next time!
The planning template is free to our newsletter subscribers. Sign up for the newsletter HERE. And current subscribers, be sure to check your email for a message with the link!
Happy planning and be sure to share your plans and makes with us!
