White Sweater Styling: Part 2

Katie put together a couple of casual looks with her Seamwork Astoria sweater. This is a great wardrobe builder piece and pairs great with jeans or joggers.

Well I hope everyone survived Halloween!  It was a crazy, but successful holiday here, and now my kids have enough candy to last them until next Halloween!

But on to the subject of the day — my Astoria sweater!  Even though I am an office rat, I’m a casual girl at heart.  So I put together a couple of casual looks with this sweater too.

Casual Look No. 1

I am definitely a jeans-and-tshirt sort of girl, so I had to go with a classic casual look here.

I paired the sweater with my Itch to Stitch Liana Jeans, and this outfit is my happy place.  I am always comfortable in jeans — I just feel at home in them.

I acquired these Converse sneakers about a year ago, and I’ve been surprised how much I wear them.  They go with just about everything, and are comfy and cute to boot!

      Casual Outfit No. 2

I made these Named Alexandria Peg Trousers during my sewing weekend last spring, and I’ve been on the fence about them.

On the one hand, they are uber comfy.  On the other hand, there’s a lot of volume at the hip, and the fabric wrinkles really easily.  I’m not sure I’m on board with joggers that I have to iron.

Still, I’m giving them another shot.  I had relegated them to pajamas for a while, but I’m going to take them out of the PJ drawer and give them a good ol’ college try.

After all, they would be an ideal casual weekend piece.  Comfy to wear, easy to style, and hopefully stylish.  We’ll see how it goes!

            My 4 looks:

Here are all 4 looks together!
